DJ TONY WINTER, since his first exposure to house it's always been about house with this DJ.  However doing so has alienated him from some, but opened him up to so many! But, it's been about 22 years since he’s been hooked, and he thinks it's still the best sound out there.

“From 98.7 kiss and WBLS to now, what a ride.” he says.  Giving credit to Merlin Bobb, Timmy Regisford, and Tony Humphries for keeping him up with the music, he continues by saying, “They made me realize that after Red Alert and Mr. Magic / Marley Marl, the weekend party was only just beginning.”  Too many times the good times came with listening to his boys, Grandmixer VLD and Boogie Night and soon thereafter he decided it was time to start buying some records.  Flashing back, he added “I would also like to give a very big ‘big up’ to my friend DJ RAS for puttin’ me on the NYC underground scene. I've had the pleasure of spinning with him a few times and it's always a celebration!”
